Peter OToole Father Of Sponge

While filming Lawrence of Arabia in Jordan, Peter O'Toole found camel riding so uncomfortable that he went to a local market and bought a piece of foam rubber to pad his saddle. Extras noticed the fix and started copying it on their own saddles. Local Bedouins saw the trend and nicknamed O'Toole “Father of the Sponge.”
