Debbie Reynolds Follows Carrie Fisher

In December 2016, the day after Carrie Fisher died, her mother, Debbie Reynolds, met with family to plan her daughter’s funeral. During the discussion, Reynolds reportedly said, "I want to be with Carrie." Almost immediately afterward, she suffered a stroke and died the same day.
