Tom Hanks' Community College Beginning

Tom Hanks is a big fan of community colleges because his poor high school grades and lousy SAT scores sent him to Chabot College, a nearby community college that accepted everyone and was free at the time. Those two years at Chabot gave him an affordable way into higher education and helped launch the career that made him one of Hollywood's most famous actors.
