In the early 1990s, John Travolta felt his career was over until director Quentin Tarantino asked to meet him about a new project. That night, Tarantino had Travolta play board games from his past movies and recite famous lines from his earlier roles. At the end of the visit, Tarantino offered him the role of Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction, which went on to relaunch Travolta's career.
