Alan Alda's Fallen Rum Cake

Actor Alan Alda met his future wife, Arlene Weiss, at a dinner party in New York when they were the only two guests willing to eat a rum cake that had fallen on the kitchen floor. They laughed over the mishap, bonded, and soon began dating. The couple married in 1957 and stayed together for more than 60 years.
