Jonah Hill's $60,000 Scorsese Gamble

Jonah Hill accepted just $60,000 to appear in The Wolf of Wall Street after the studio used his eagerness to work with director Martin Scorsese to push his fee as low as possible. He signed on for the minimum Screen Actors Guild rate simply to be part of the film. In contrast, Leonardo DiCaprio, who also served as a producer, was paid about $10 million.
