Gremlins 2 Fourth-Wall Projector Gag

In Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), the filmmakers staged a famous gag where the gremlins appear to break the fourth wall by wrecking the theater projector mid-movie until Hulk Hogan stands up on screen and scares them into putting the film back on. For the VHS release, they reworked the joke to fit home viewing, having the gremlins disrupt the videotape and flip through fake TV channels instead. In that version, John Wayne finally shows up and orders them to knock it off.
