Eyes Wide Shut 400-Day Shoot

Stanley Kubrick's final film, the 1999 erotic drama Eyes Wide Shut, holds the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous film shoot in cinema history. The production filmed for 400 days straight, finally wrapping in June 1998 after Kubrick kept his cast and crew working through an exceptionally drawn-out schedule. Postproduction then continued until March 1999, when he sent the final cut to the studio. Kubrick died six days later, leaving Eyes Wide Shut as both his last completed movie and the record holder for Hollywood's longest continuous shoot.
