Luxembourg Forty-Four Soldiers Korea

In 1951, tiny Luxembourg decided to join the UN effort in the Korean War and sent its entire army, just 44 soldiers, to assist South Korea. These troops served alongside other UN forces at the front, and by the end of the conflict, 2 Luxembourgers had been killed and 17 wounded.
