Florida School For Boys Graves

For decades, the Florida School for Boys in Florida operated as a state reform school until it finally shut down in 2011. Former students and investigators described systemic abuse inside the institution, including beatings, rapes, torture, and suspected murders carried out by staff.

Using ground-penetrating radar, researchers later located about 50 unmarked and undocumented graves scattered across the property. The hidden burial sites reinforced allegations that some boys were killed and secretly buried there.
