2020 Trademark of Cool S

Since the 1980s, kids and graffiti writers have drawn the cool S, a simple stylized S made from connected lines, without knowing where it came from. In 2020, someone who did not create the symbol registered a trademark for it. The trademark holder said they had no plans to sue people for using it.
