In 2001, a Gulfstream III was flying a private jet charter to Aspen, Colorado, when a wealthy passenger pressed the pilots to ignore local flight and landing restrictions. He even entered the cockpit to intimidate them into attempting the prohibited approach. The crew tried to land anyway, the jet crashed on approach, and all 18 passengers aboard were killed.
