Michael Laudor's Murder Ends a Film

Before making A Beautiful Mind, director Ron Howard developed Laws of Madness, an inspirational film about Yale Law graduate Michael Laudor, who lived with schizophrenia. In 1998, Laudor murdered his girlfriend, and the project collapsed. Howard pivoted to A Beautiful Mind, which told John Nash's story instead.
