Rare 9/11 Audio Captured

On September 11, 2001, tax consultant Stephen McArdle sat at the Marriott World Trade Center café across from a tax assessor under FBI investigation, secretly wearing a transmitting wire. As the first plane struck, the microphone caught McArdle's startled "That's an explosion" before unfolding into continuous audio of both crashes. This recording remains the only known uninterrupted audio that captured both impacts in sequence.
