The Poisonous Crimes of Rhonda Martin

Rhonda Belle Martin was executed in Alabama's electric chair on October 11, 1957, for poisoning her fourth husband, Claude Carroll Martin. During the investigation, which was sparked by the illness of her fifth husband (Claude's son, Ronald, who survived but became paralyzed), she confessed to killing her mother, two of her husbands, and three of her children. She also poisoned Ronald in an attempt to kill him, but his survival ultimately revealed her murderous crimes.
