Dog Wool That Outwarms Sheep

Fibers spun from dog hair, known as chiengora, can be up to 80% warmer than sheep's wool. Historically used for weaving and knitting, the material is soft and insulating but lacks elasticity, making it harder to work with. Despite its rarity today, some artisans still produce chiengora garments for their exceptional warmth.
