iPad Invented Before iPhone

Although Apple released the iPhone in 2007 and the iPad in 2010, the tablet was actually in development first. Steve Jobs revealed that Apple engineers originally created touchscreen prototypes for a tablet, but the technology was adapted into the iPhone after proving more commercially viable. The success of the iPhone then paved the way for the iPad's launch three years later.
