Matrix Scene's Spit Bucket Trick

During the restaurant betrayal scene in "The Matrix," actor Joe Pantoliano used a spit bucket because rare beef made him gag. In wide shots, the filmmakers used shiitake mushrooms rigged to look like steak for the actor to eat.
