Thornton's Drunken Escalator Stunt

Billy Bob Thornton actually got drunk for his scenes in "Bad Santa" (2003). During the escalator fall scene, he passed out after consuming three glasses of red wine for breakfast, followed by vodkas with cranberry juice, and then a few Bud Lights.
