Marines Outsmart AI Surveillance

A squad of U.S. Marines in a DARPA Squad X drill managed to bypass an AI-powered security camera in the United States. The experiment, which took place as a controlled test in 2023, demonstrated the ease with which creative tactics could fool the system. Two marines evaded detection by somersaulting for 300 meters, another pair pretended to be a cardboard box, and one even disguised himself as a bush. The AI failed to detect any of them.
