In 1959, thirty TV Westerns aired during prime time in the U.S., with none canceled that season and 14 new ones debuting. In March 1959, eight of the top ten shows were Westerns. Additionally, that year saw the sale of toys based on TV Westerns valued at an estimated $125 million.
