Arachnid Invasion at Maryland Plant

In 2009, a Maryland wastewater treatment plant became home to over 100 million orb-weaving spiders, marking the largest recorded aggregation in history. Dense sheets and volumes of webbing covered the entire facility, leading to its nickname, "Back River Arachnotopia."
