Honda Jazz & Fit Recall

Honda Jazz & Fit Recall

In 2011, Honda recalled approximately 646,000 Jazz and Fit models worldwide-primarily in the UK and Asia-after discovering that liquid spills, such as coffee on the floor, could short-circuit the master window switch, potentially causing fires. The bizarre flaw, traced back to design vulnerabilities in the driver's side door panel, led to multiple fire reports and at least one death, prompting the large-scale recall.
