James Bond Laserdiscs Withdrawn

In 1991, the Criterion Collection released the 007 movie Dr. No on laserdisc with a special commentary track featuring director Terence Young, screenwriter Richard Maibaum, and others, but it was quickly recalled at the request of EON Productions due to offensive, sexist, and potentially defamatory remarks and sensitive production details. While most unsold copies were destroyed and reissued without extras, surviving originals are now rare collectibles.
