Tom Hardy impressed the real Charles Bronson so much with his dedication to the film "Bronson" (2008) that Bronson shaved off his iconic mustache and gave it to Hardy to wear during filming. Hardy's preparation involved intense physical training to gain nearly 40 pounds of muscle, studying Bronson's voice and mannerisms, and regularly speaking with him to fully embody the infamous British criminal.
