Mummified Seals Found Inland

Researchers have found hundreds of mummified seals up to 41 miles inland in Antarctica. One specimen, tested, had been exposed for 1,500 years. They theorize that 1-2 seals get lost annually during whiteout events, accidentally traveling inland and eventually dying.
