Lonely Sunfish Needs Faces

In January 2025, at the Kaikyokan Aquarium in Japan, a resident ocean sunfish became so lonely during the aquarium's renovation closure that it stopped eating. To help, staff placed cardboard cutouts of human faces along its tank. Remarkably, its appetite returned the next day.
