Martin Sheen's Unscripted Breakdown

In "Apocalypse Now" (1979), the famous hotel room breakdown scene with Martin Sheen was unscripted. Sheen, intoxicated, instructed the crew to film him as he aggressively punched mirrors. Director Francis Ford Coppola continued filming.
