Human Height Changes Over Millennia

The average human height decreased from 5'10" (178 cm) for men and 5'6" (168 cm) for women to 5'5" (165 cm) and 5'1" (155 cm) about 10,000 years ago. It took until the 20th century for average human height to return to pre-Neolithic Revolution levels.
