Record Benadryl Overdose Tragedy

In 1982, a 14-year-old girl in Minneapolis ingested 7.5 grams of diphenhydramine (Benadryl), marking it the largest documented overdose of the drug. She experienced seizures and severe cardiac complications, and despite extensive life support measures, she succumbed to the overdose within hours.
