"Fantasia" Evolved from Short Film

Fantasia began as just the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" Mickey Mouse short, intended as a comeback for the character as his popularity was in decline. As the budget grew, it expanded into a full movie, and it is now regarded as one of the greatest animated films.
