In 1983, an 18-year-old boy fell from Space Mountain and became paralyzed from the waist down. However, Disneyland was not found at fault. During the trial, the jury visited the park to experience Space Mountain, and multiple ride vehicles were brought to the courtroom to demonstrate their functionality.
