Disney's $115M Avengers Deal

In 2010, Disney paid Paramount at least $115 million to acquire the distribution rights for Marvel's "The Avengers." Despite not owning, financing, marketing, or distributing the film, Paramount appeared in the movie's opening title. Ultimately, "The Avengers" grossed over $1.5 billion.
