US Government's Influence on Marvel Films

A FOIA request made in 2017 revealed that the US government influenced the production of many films, including those in the Marvel franchise, by insisting on script edits that portray the government positively. Around 1,100 titles received Pentagon backing, 900 of them since 2005.
