Philo Farnsworth Invented Television Tube

In 1934, Philo Farnsworth and RCA battled in court to establish the patent that marked the beginning of TV broadcasting. Farnsworth's high school physics teacher testified that Farnsworth, at 14, first described the idea for a scanning tube, which became known as a television.
