Shakespeare's Skull Still Missing Today

Shakespeare's grave does not bear his name, and his skull is missing-a mystery that continues to intrigue researchers. During restoration, workers took special care not to disturb his remains, likely in respect of the eerie epitaph carved on his tombstone: "Good friend, for Jesus' sake forbear, To dig the dust enclosed here. Blessed be the man that spares these stones, And cursed be he that moves my bones."
