Othello So Intense It Killed

Shakespeare's play Othello evokes particularly intense emotions, largely due to his expert use of dramatic irony. In one infamous instance, a theatergoer became so immersed in the story that he pulled out a pistol and shot the actor portraying Iago. The actor's tombstone later read, "Here lies the greatest actor."
