Judge Dismisses Lawsuit in Rap

Eminem wrote "Brain Damage" (1999) about his real childhood bully, DeAngelo Bailey. In an interview, Bailey boasted that he hit Eminem so hard, it caused a concussion, made his ears bleed, and temporarily blinded him. Later, in 2001, Bailey attempted to sue Eminem for slander. However, a judge dismissed the case—remarkably—in the form of a rap.
