Love Boat: Pregnancies at Sea

The USS Acadia (AD-42), a Yellowstone-class destroyer, became the first U.S. Navy ship to deploy with a wartime mixed-sex crew. During the Persian Gulf War, it earned the nickname "The Love Boat" after 10% of its crew became pregnant while deployed.
