Tour de Nesle: Executed for Love

During the infamous Tour de Nesle Affair, two knights-who were also brothers-engaged in affairs with the Queens of France. For their "crimes," authorities captured and executed them in horrific fashion: they were beaten, skinned alive, emasculated, doused in boiling lead sulfite, decapitated, and hung on public gallows where their bodies decayed for weeks.
