Cyclist’s Heavy Metal Trick

French cyclist Jean Robic used an unconventional trick in the Tour de France by having an assistant hand him a lead- or mercury-filled water bottle during downhill sections to gain extra weight. This tactic earned him the nickname "The Heavy Metal Descender."
