Fake Havana Airport for Hijackers

In the 1960s and 1970s, the frequency of hijackings from the U.S. to Cuba increased to such an extent that authorities issued detour flight plans to pilots. Authorities even considered constructing a fake "Havana Airport" in South Florida to trick hijackers.
