Grand Central’s Hidden Oyster Bar

Beneath New York City, on the lower concourse of Grand Central Terminal, a windowless 440-seat oyster and seafood bar has been serving customers since the terminal’s opening in 1913. Apart from brief closures due to a fire in 1997 and COVID-19, it has operated continuously.
