Japan’s Feline Station Master

To boost its declining popularity as a travel hub, Japan's Kishigawa Train Line appointed a cat named Tama as its official station master in 2007. The move attracted a surge in tourism, making the station a popular attraction. In 2010, a second cat joined to "assist" Tama in her duties.
