Human perception of reality is essentially a simulation created by the brain. The brain only receives electrical signals from sensory nerves and constructs an internal model of the world based on that data. This means that individuals never experience objective reality directly. Each person's perception is unique, and in a sense, we each live within our own isolated simulation of the world.
