Princip's View on WWI

Gavrilo Princip, the student who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand, believed he wasn't responsible for starting World War I. He claimed the war would have happened regardless of the assassination and stated, "I cannot feel myself responsible for the catastrophe."
