Millionaire Game Show Fraud Scandal

In 2001, Army Major Charles Ingram cheated his way to winning £1,000,000 on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? by relying on a fellow contestant to cough whenever he read the correct answer. For one question, the coughing even came from Ingram's wife. All three were later convicted of fraud.
