Günther Kaufmann's False Confession

In 2002, German actor Günther Kaufmann confessed to accidentally suffocating his accountant by falling on him with his 260-pound body. However, in 2005, investigators discovered Kaufmann was innocent. He had falsely confessed to protect his dying wife, who had actually committed the murder.
