WhatsApp Founders Strike Billionaire Deal

After Facebook rejected former Yahoo employee Brian Acton for a job in 2009, he and Jan Koum took a risk by co-founding WhatsApp later that same year. Consequently, after amassing 450 million global users by 2014, they sold WhatsApp to Facebook in a deal that reportedly made both of them multi-billionaires.
