Edet Couple's 24-Year Slave Ordeal

A London couple named Emmanuel and Antan Edet enslaved a Nigerian man, Ofonime Sunday Inuk, for 24 years before he finally escaped. Notably, he left his native Nigeria at about 14 years old in 1989 and managed to break free only in 2015. Consequently, after their arrests, the couple received only six-year prison sentences.
